Everything about Michael Kimmelman totally explained

Michael Kimmelman is an author and the chief art critic and a columnist for the New York Times. He was born and raised in Greenwich Village. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale College and received his graduate degree in art history from Harvard University. A classical pianist, who still performs, he started as a music critic at the paper, then moved into art. As of fall 2007 he's based in Berlin writing the Abroad column for the Times on culture and society across Europe. He also contributes regularly to the New York Review of Books.
